You Not Me Ltd (“we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have.

Who we are

You Not Me Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at 5 Acacia Road, London, W3 6HE. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect

This website does not have contact forms, user accounts, or a mailing list. We collect personal data in only three ways.

If you email us. We receive whatever you choose to send: your name, email address, and the content of your message. Our email is provided by Google Workspace.

If you book a call. Our booking page is hosted by Calendly. If you book, Calendly collects your name, email address, and any information you enter when booking, and shares it with us. Calendly is a separate company and processes your data under its own privacy policy.

When you visit this site. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. It records aggregate information such as pages visited, approximate country, browser type, and referring site. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not identify you individually.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing tools. We do not sell or share personal data for marketing purposes.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To reply to your enquiry and discuss possible work. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (responding to someone who has contacted us) or steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
  • To provide our services where you become a client. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it. Lawful basis: legitimate interests. We have considered your rights here, and use analytics that do not identify you or track you across the web.
  • To keep business records as required by law, such as for tax. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to two years, then deleted. Records relating to client engagements are kept for seven years after the engagement ends, to meet legal and accounting requirements. Analytics data is aggregate and is retained by Vercel under its own retention policy.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that make our business work:

  • Google Workspace — email
  • Calendly — call booking
  • Vercel — website hosting and analytics
  • HubSpot — our internal client relationship records
  • Our accountant, and other professional advisers where required

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred abroad, it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to: be told what data we hold about you and receive a copy of it; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data erased in certain circumstances; restrict or object to how we use it; and receive your data in a portable format.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or call 0303 123 1113.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies. Our analytics provider does not use them. If you book a call through Calendly, that service may set cookies on its own pages, governed by its own policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
